Punthep has joined CNA Advance as a Principal Engineer since 2012. He has always had a personal interest in Airport IT Technology. Prior to working with CNA, he served Suvarnabhumi Airport System Integration Consultancy for Passenger Terminal Complex (PTC) System Integration and Operations project to Airport of Thailand or AOT. The major responsibility was to provide recommendations on the airport operations, assisted the airport in implementation of the system integration project, coordinating with the third parties on the integration aspect, provided support on root cause analysis, and conducted the test on the new or developed systems.
Punthep worked overseas for CNA Advance at Hamad International Airport in Qatar, especially to assist in the airport systems testing for Qatar Airways’ IT department (QRIT). The main assignment was to review and provided comments on the Airport Wide Systems Test (AWST) documents proposed by the contractors. Furthermore, Punthep was assigned to be a Head of Unit for Hamad International Airport Special Systems Repair and Maintenance Services Project for 3 years. He took action on Airport Operations Systems and Passenger Processing Systems such as Airport Operations Database (AODB), Flight Information Display System (FIDS), Common Use Terminal Equipment (CUTE), and Local Departure Control Systems (LDCS), etc.
Recently, he also holds a Project Manager position for an installation project at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
